Escale Oceania Rennes Cap Malo

Very easy property to spend a night within easy reach of St Malo ferry port. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Staff very helpful as my french is quite rusty. Place was ideal but prices doubled due to exhibition. Needed to book an extra night due to ferry strike & price of room was half of other nights ( exhibition had finished) which gives the feeling of being fleeced (but thats standard procedure amongst hotels). Didnt have breakfast but place was nice, well located & would definitely use again.

Air conditioning - v hot day. Room smaller than expected, it was suggested that this was a ‘comfort’ version but room and bathroom adequate but minimal. Breakfast fine but previewed as ‘gourmet’ but was no better than I would expect in FRANCE.

We found this a perfect overnight stay before a morning ferry, at a fraction of the price of coastal hotels. Really comfy beds and so handy to have restaurants and entertainment around to wear out our toddler for the evening!

The beds were extremely comfy and we slept really well. Nice large room, air conditioned and well equipped. Good breakfast and easy parking.
