The student on Reception, Inès, was absolutely exceptional and bent over backwards to help me. I booked for the wrong night by accident, I was late, hungry, stressed after getting stuck in awful traffic and tired but she couldn't have been nicer, more calm, or more accommodating. She cancelled my wrong booking (even though it was beyond the free cancellation period) and helped me get a new booking with Booking.com. Then I messed up my booking again but she sorted that out too. I had also forgotten my phone charger and again she found me one. After all this I needed a cork screw for the wine I had in my bag and she offered me that too. So she was just amazing. As for the room, it was spacious, pristine clean, the bed was comfy but not too hard, the toiletries were quality Rituals ones, it was quiet, the curtains blocked out morning light - all just perfect. The standard rooms have a separate toilet to the bathroom which is quite nice too. It's ideal for people catching the ferry from Saint Malo to Portsmouth as it only takes about 30mins from the hotel to the port. I will definitely book there again.

Quiet area, easy accessible location by car due to the proximity to big road, friendly and helpful staf, clean and comfortable air-conditioned rooms, even no so big, a lot of food areas near by, proper free parking.

This is good value for an overnight stay. Breakfast was ok and the coffee was really good. I had a good night’s sleep. The room was an ok size but a little spartan. Bathroom and shower good.

Very clean, fresh and simple room - perfect for a one night stay. Bed is really comfortable, bathroom is nice with a large shower and beautiful Rituals shower gel as well as little mini conditioner and body lotion. Buffet style breakfast was lovely and had lots to choose from. Staff were friendly. We would definitely stay again :)

Staff very helpful as my french is quite rusty. Place was ideal but prices doubled due to exhibition. Needed to book an extra night due to ferry strike & price of room was half of other nights ( exhibition had finished) which gives the feeling of being fleeced (but thats standard procedure amongst hotels). Didnt have breakfast but place was nice, well located & would definitely use again.
